A game between the two teams at the bottom with 2 points from 4 matches. But here I see good chance for the defending champions to show some quality and win against scoreless Mohun Bagan. Dempo should be fully concentrated a week after two painful home loses (preceded by two goalless draws). Mohun Bagan realy can't make the things in their attack work. Their coach is flabbergasted. He said that will say to his midfields to try score goals as his forwards coulndn't in four games already. And if the champions can't win in this match, I really don't see where they will.

You can read about Mahindra in the preview of my first pick. The team is doing well and it's on 2nd place with a game less. United had hard minutes against Mills, but took all the points. Now, rested eight days later, the team should be again hungry for victory in their hunt for the title. Fransa will not be so hard to beat and I see the fair odds around 1.45-1.5.

East Bengal won against Fransa and now are on the top of the table. The result was 2-0, but the Calcutta team could score more goals. I expect similar game in this match as I see Air-India on Fransa's level and their also young team shouldn't be obstacle on East Bengal's way.

Mohammedan keep disproving me, but I am obstinate and I can't believe thay will continue with the good results. They were very lucky last match to hold Goa for a draw. But here Mohammedan do not start as a dog and I see good chances for the Millmen to take points. And you cannot give 2.90 for a team with only 1 loss in 4 away games (in the 89min with a man less against the strongest title candidate) versus a team like Mohammedan, which I keep saying is not for the first half of the table. Self-made JCT Mills -1/4 @ 2.42 is excelent offer.

It's Mohun Bagan's 4th homegame in a row. They have 2 points and no goals scored. The 2 scoreless draws were stolen by big names like Mahindra and East Bengal with all-in-defence tactics. But in the only game they had to build the game, AC failed and lost against Mohammedan. Mohun Bagan is the only team that have no goal scored after 3 games.
JCT Mills are performing not bad so far. This will be 4th away match in a row. They won 2 point, fighting well against good teams like SC de Goa and Mahindra. The Millmen has strengthened their squad for this season and should be team that everybody must consider with.
One more thing - Mills have 2 days more for resting than AC. Mohun Bagan can't rely only on the defence for this game and that is where I see the chances for JCT. Mills have better team and will hardly lose this game.
So I see big value in Mills -1/4 @ 2.515 (self-made) offered from Betandwin and this will be my choice for the game.

East Bengal Club is angry about the missed victory against city rival Mohun Bagan, despite the good chances they had. In this match they will try to back on the track and to stay close to Mahindra for the first place. Players which were injured for the derby should be fine for this game and help their team to win all three points.
Fransa-Pax is with two goalless draws so far and shouldn't be a big obstacle on East Bengal's way. Odds here are also close to fair, but I see the big team collecting the points.

I've already wrote about the situation in Mohammedan SC. But they keep winning points. OK, in this game they will have the possibility to show if they really worth. 4 points against Mohun Bagan and Salgaocar are fine, but today one of the big clubs are against them.
SC de Goa have short history, but already have missed few titles in the NFL. Dempo as thought is passing through hard times and SC de Goa must try to use this chance to be on the first places. Their results so far are ok and they will try to climb on the top of the temporary table after this game.
The odds are close to fair, but still I see very good chances for Sporting Clube de Goa to win the game. They have more quality more ambitions and 3 more resting days before this game.

Bad news came from India. First on Saturday Mohammedan SC have been fighting well against Salgaocar and stole the victory by a late substitute's goal. Today injury worries made East Bengal Club playing without three important players. Another two took part in the game still feeling ache. One of them was the big star and goalskorer of the team - nationa captain of India Baichung Bhutia.
